How to Get a Copy of My GED & My Score in Kansas

The General Education Development test measures basic skills in writing, science, reading, social studies and mathematics. Many employers and colleges consider the GED equivalent to a high school diploma. Each section on the GED ranges from 200-800 points. You must score at least 420 on each section of the test and earn an average section score of 450 to earn your GED. In Kansas, it costs $10 to obtain a copy of your GED diploma, which proves you earned your GED, or GED transcript, which lists your scores.
