How to Get California GED Results From 1992

You took the GED in 1992 and now need your results. While it may have been a while, the state will still have these records. These scores, as well as other transcripts, can be obtained by mailing-in a letter. Your results will take awhile to get to you, and you will have to pay a fee. So get typing, and be sure to include all the information required to get your scores.

Instructions

    • 1

Write or type a letter requesting a copy of your GED scores.

    • 2

Include your full name, as it was at the time you took the test. Include your birth date, social security number -- or GED ID number -- approximate test date, the city the test was taken in, your mother's maiden name and your current mailing address. If you want copies of your GED scores to go to different addresses, write out those addresses -- and how many of the copies of your scores you want sent.

    • 3

Sign the letter with an original signature.

    • 4

Buy a money. As of February 2011, the fee is $7 for every copy you need. Make the money order payable to "ETS."

      ETS - GED Records Center
