Teach children how to master using the computer mouse. Explain the purposes of the left and right click of the mouse. Sometimes, the basics of learning to click the mouse or drag objects along the screen with a cursor are frustrating to a child. Younger children get excited and tend to click the mouse multiple times. They must be taught how to drag the mouse and moderate their clicks. Use a word processing program with the paint features and familiarize students with how to control the mouse. There are also games and fun coloring activities that can give your kindergarteners practice.
