Alternative Schools in McKinney, Texas

According to the McKinney Independent School District (MISD) website, MISD features "19 elementary schools, five middle schools, three high schools, four alternative schools, and one early childhood education center." The four alternative schools are the Herman Lawson Early Childhood Center, the Learning in New Contexts (LINC) Center, Serenity High, and the Discipline Campuses. Although these schools serve a minority of the population in MISD, they provide unique educational services.
