  1. Bridgton Academy

    • The Bridgton Academy in Bridgton is an all-boys preparatory school. Bridgton was founded in 1808 to "provide a program for young men in a unique, one year, post-graduate environment to prepare for the competitive rigors of college and beyond." Accreditation is provided by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. The 55-acre campus houses 24 buildings, including academic facilities, student housing and athletic facilities. The curriculum at Bridgton includes courses in English, math, science, social science and technology.

    Gould Academy

    • The Gould Academy in Bethel is a college prep academy with a challenging curriculum to prepare students for college and beyond. Gould Academy offers small class sizes with a student-teacher ratio of 7-1 and dedicated faculty to assist students in their continuum of development. In addition to the challenging curriculum, Gould Academy also offers the following sports programs: cross country, equestrian, field hockey, golf, mountain biking, soccer, skiing/snowboarding, baseball and tennis.

    Hebron Academy

    • The Hebron Academy in Hebron was founded in 1804 and is a coed college prep boarding and day school. The Hebron Academy accepts students from sixth grade through postgraduate. It is the mission of Hebron to "inspire and guide students to reach their highest potential in mind, body and spirit." Students may take part in special activities, including art festival week, winter carnival, campus concerts, spa nights, cookouts, dances and junior/senior prom.

    Hyde School

    • Hyde School in Bath was founded in the early 1960s and is part of a network of college prep schools. Students in grades 9-12 are accepted at Hyde. Advanced Placement, honors, summer and orientation programs are also offered. At Hyde School, the curriculum teaches students effort over achievement; attitude over aptitude and character over talent. Hyde prepares students not only for college, but for life as well. Hyde School's mission is "to physically and mentally challenge individuals to test and discover their character and potential."
