How to File a Complaint With the Texas Education Agency

Anyone can file a complaint with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) against educational facilities or personnel that the filer feels are in violation of certain laws and rules. The TEA handles various aspects of secondary and elementary education within the state of Texas. When schools have outdated textbooks, school funds appear to be mishandled or teachers follow a questionable curriculum, complaints may be filed with the TEA. All complaints must include specific details to be considered for TEA follow-up.
