- Type I: A one-piece visor that is attached directly to the helmet and does not extend below the eyebrows.
- Type II: A two-piece visor that consists of a flexible visor frame and a separate visor face shield that is attached to the frame. The visor face shield must not extend below the eyebrows.
- Type III: A visor that is integrated into the helmet design. The visor must not extend below the eyebrows.
All visors must be made of a clear material that does not distort vision. They must also be free of cracks or other damage.
