Cheerleaders work hard to learn their routines and practice them to the point of perfection. Recognize the hard work of the cheer team by showcasing them as individuals. Create a yearbook display for your cheer spirit table by giving each cheerleader an index-card-sized picture and bio on a poster-board. Or place individual photos and bios in decorative 5-by-7 frames and line them up across the table so that visitors can pick them up and read them individually.
Use cheer-related items to decorate your table. You might want to start with a plain plastic tablecloth in one of your team colors to dress up a plain folding table. You can create a "bedskirt" for the table by draping pompoms all the way around the edges. Keep mementos from various events your team attends to have several items to decorate with. Some possible items might include ribbons that your team has won and ticket stubs from football games. If you need more accessories, check out a local party store for supplies.
To get your crowd in the spirit, send visitors home with a small party favor so they remember your squad. Some cute trinkets might be mini homemade pom poms that you can make by stringing several ribbons together. Or create a photo opportunity. Blow up a photo of your team in a cheer pyramid and put it on a banner. Make one or more face holes so that someone can stand behind the photo and look like they were a part of it. Have a polaroid camera on hand so that visitors can have a moment as a squad member.
