Fold a plain letter-size piece of paper in half length-wise. Press your fingers along the fold to create a crease, then open it back up.
Fold the top right and left corners down to the center crease.
Bring the new corners created on either side in to the center crease, covering the previous fold.
Turn the paper so that the folds are now face down, then fold the paper in half, vertically. Press down the fold to form a crease.
Take the edge of the paper and fold it back over to withing one inch of the center crease. Turn over and repeat on the other side, then test out your airplane.
Place the piece of paper facing your lengthwise, then fold down one inch from the top. Fold over seven more times.
Turn the paper over and fold in half horizontally, while holding the folded section in place. Slide your fingers firmly across the folded section to crease it better and hold in place.
Place a ruler across the bottom of the folded paper and draw a line straight across.
Cut a zig zag pattern at the bottom, up to the line, making sure to cut through both sheets of paper. This step is optional.
Fold over the wing facing up, starting from a 1/2-inch from the center line. Turn over and do the same on the other side
