How to Use Letter E Activities to Teach Letter Recognition

Letter E activities are a great way to increase letter recognition in preschoolers. When you base fun activities on things that start with the letter E, your preschoolers will be able to identify the letter and begin to recognize the sound the letter makes. Try these letter E activities with your preschooler.

Plan an egg treasure hunt. Use plastic eggs to hold the clues for the treasure hunt. Write a letter E on the outside of each egg so your preschooler sees the letter several times during the treasure hunt.

Cook eggs throughout the week. See how many types of egg dishes you can create with your children.

    • 3

Color eggs. Kids will have fun coloring eggs even if it's not Easter.
