The New England Institute of Technology in Warwick, Rhode Island, offers associate's degrees in 18 months and Bachelor of Science degrees in three years. Probably best suited for nontraditional students and those with other jobs or responsibilities, Lincoln offers flexible morning, afternoon and night classes. It also has working partnerships with employers in the Rhode Island area to help with career placement. It's an accredited institution that offers varying programs, depending on the location, generally granting program diplomas and certifications, or two- or four-year degrees, in dental, medical assistance and administration, pharmacy, massage therapy and network communications and information systems. The Rhode Island location also is affiliated with a new program under the name of Euphoria Institute of Beauty Arts and Sciences.
Rhode Island College, in Providence, is a more traditional institution that offers four-year undergraduate degrees in many fields both in arts and sciences, as well as graduate degrees, and it offers a technology education program that prepares students to be educators of technology. There is both a bachelor's program and a master's program for this specialization, which includes student teaching and a Rhode Island teaching certificate. Under the Arts and Sciences Department, it offers a bachelor's in radiologic technology, a four-year program that involves two years of clinical diagnostic imaging study.
