  1. Plymouth State University

    • Plymouth State University in Plymouth, New Hampshire is part of the state's official university system. PSU offers continuing education courses through its Frost School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Continuing education students may enroll in up to 11.5 credit hours during fall or spring terms. No formal application or admission to the university is necessary, but continuing education students must demonstrate sufficient academic performance, must hold a high school diploma or GED and must have fulfilled any class prerequisites. Most courses are also open to auditors for half the tuition cost and no credit. Plymouth State University also offers both credit and non-credit courses online.

    Keene State College

    • Continuing education students at Keene State College in Keene, New Hampshire, have the option of being part of the on-campus community, whether paying per credit or taking up to a full semester load, or selecting any of three pay-per-course online formats. Certificates are available, both for credit and not for credit, some offered completely through distance learning. Keene State also provides many continuing education options for educators, from weekend courses to graduate-level courses available online. Keene State College is part of the University System of New Hampshire.

    Southern New Hampshire University

    • At Southern New Hampshire University, the department of continuing education prides itself on its flexible options for students. SNHU has developed a partnership with the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning to create the best learning environment for its students. In addition to its many offerings in any of 40 programs at its main campus in Manchester, SNHU also has one of the biggest distance learning programs in New England. Night and weekend classes are available at any of SNHU's five continuing education centers in New Hampshire and Maine. Southern New Hampshire University is a private four-year university with five campuses.

    University of New Hampshire

    • The University of New Hampshire, part of the University System of New Hampshire, has a main campus in Durham as well as a commuter college in Manchester and three learning centers. Its continuing education department offers undergraduate credit courses to non-degree-seeking students who meet all prerequisites and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Graduate courses are also offered to those already possessing a bachelor's degree. Up to 11 undergraduate or eight graduate credits may be taken during either the fall or spring semesters without enrollment in a degree program. The department also provides non-credit seminars and certification programs in over 200 areas of concentration as well as customized training, conceptualized and executed to assist individual companies with their own training needs.
