    • Clark Atlanta University is a historically black college offering 38 major areas of undergraduate study. Annual tuition and fees are $17,038 as of the 2009 to 2010 school year. Clark Atlanta has an enrollment of about 4,000 students and is a residential campus. Clark Atlanta also offers a range of graduate degrees in the arts and sciences, business administration, education and social work. Graduate tuition is $680 per credit hour as of 2010.

    Emory University

    • Emory University is a private university and one of the world's largest private research universities. Emory has an enrollment of nearly 13,000 and offers over 30 major programs at the baccalaureate level. The university also has graduate schools of law, theology, business, public health, medicine and nursing. 2010 undergraduate tuition is $37,500 per year. Graduate tuition varies by program. Emory consistently places highly in a number of prestigious college rankings, including U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Colleges."

    Georgia State University

    • With 150 fields of study and 55 accredited degree programs, Georgia State University offers something for each one of its more than 28,000 undergraduate students. Graduate students can pursue studies in anything from accounting to women's studies at one of GSU's six graduate schools. Georgia State University is considered to be the southeast's leading urban research institution. Undergraduate tuition for the 2009 school year was $6,284 for Georgia residents and $20,852 for nonresidents. Graduate tuition varies depending on which graduate school offers the student's major.

    Morehouse College

    • Morehouse College is a historically black liberal arts college for men, offering 26 different majors at the baccalaureate level. Morehouse has an enrollment of about 2,800 students, and tuition was $20,358 for the 2008 to 2009 school year. Morehouse does not offer graduate programs.

    Oglethorpe University

    • Oglethorpe University is a small, private liberal arts school with about 1,000 students. The university offers 36 undergraduate programs at a yearly tuition rate of $27,700 as of 2009. Students at Oglethorpe can also pursue a master's in teaching in early childhood education, the school's only graduate level degree. Oglethorpe University is listed as a "Best Southeastern College" by the prestigious Princeton Review.

    Spelman College

    • Spelman college is a historically black women's college and the first black college to offer a women's resource and research center dedicated to a curriculum in women's studies. Spelman offers bachelor of science and bachelor of arts degrees in 27 majors. Many of the roughly 2,000 students live on campus. Tuition was $20,531 for the 2008 to 2009 school year. Graduate programs are not available at Spelman.
