How to Make a Roll Call Sheet

A roll sheet helps a leader keep track of who has attended a particular function, whether it is students in a class, or congressmen during an important vote. You can make your own roll sheet with nothing more than a sheet of paper and a pen. You can also design something on a computer if you prefer. Once you have created the sheet, it is a simple matter to make additional copies as you need them.

      Write the name of the class or meeting along the top of the page. This is especially important if you need to track more than one function.

      Write a list of everyone who should attend the meeting along the left side of the page.

      Leave a small space for each meeting day along the top of the page.

      Draw lines down the page separating each meeting day. This will create boxes with the lines already present on your paper. Alternately, use graph paper to accomplish the same purpose.

      Mark the box that intersects both the date and the appropriate name to show whether he has attended on that particular day.
