Click “Stat” and select “1:Edit.” You will be taken to a spreadsheet screen where you’ll enter data.
Type point of data you’d like to enter, hitting “Enter” between each. For this example, we’re entering the data into List 1 (L1). Enter the following numbers: 75, 82, 93, 72, 76, 81, 62, 69, 75, 78, 88, 86, 97, 64, 74, 76, 71, 86, 53.
Click “2nd” then “Mode” to quit and return to the home screen.
Hit “2nd” and “1” to display L1. Then click “Enter.”
Click “Stat” to make the calculator do a basic statistical analysis of the data you entered.
Now scroll to the right and select “Calc.”
Choose “1:1-Var Stats.”
Return to the home screen with the cursor blinking after “1:Var-Stats.” The calculator is waiting to know what list of data you want analyzed. Enter “2nd” and “1” for L1. You will see a statistical analysis of the data you entered, including points like the mean (which for this example should be 76.15), smallest and largest of the data points, quartiles and standard sample deviations.
