Florida Equine Massage Schools

Equine massage can be a rewarding career, helping owners give their horses a better life by reducing the risk of injury due to training or improperly fitted equipment. When delivered at the recommendation of a veterinarian, equine massage can offer important therapeutic benefits to horses recovering from long-term illness or injury. Licensing is not required in Florida, but being a certified professional equine massage therapist can be an effective marketing tool.

Equine massage can last up to 90 minutes. The equine massage therapist can charge $40 or more for their services (2010 rates). A good rule of thumb is to charge $1 for each minute of the service.
