Law Schools in Florida

There are 11 accredited law schools in the state of Florida; several are among the most prestigious in the nation and several more have nationwide name recognition, making Florida an ideal place to study law.
  1. South Florida

    • There are five law schools in southern Florida: the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami Gardens, Ave Maria School of Law in Naples and Florida International University College of Law in Miami.

      The University of Miami School of Law, founded in 1926, is the oldest, most prestigious and readily recognizable of the four.
