Various safety certificate programs are available, depending on your needs, situation or employment.   1. Certified Safety Auditor (SAC)

    • The certified safety auditor program teaches you how to document and analyze all workplace hazards, to properly perform a safety inspection of the workplace and to properly document, investigate and analyze a workplace incident.

    Safety Inspections Technicians (SIT)

    • The safety inspections certification program teaches individuals about safety plans, safety policies and procedures and safety inspections, including safety and health programs. This certification is an indication to employers that the safety inspections technicians can identify potential hazards and current hazards in the workplace, including the equipment used, environmental issues and practices currently used in the workplace.     Certified Safety Manager (CSM)

    • The certified safety manager program teaches a person the same skills as the certified safety auditor program but includes a new perspective on safety in the workplace, as well as how to develop your own safety programs in the workplace and how to create a successful safety culture. This certification is an indication to employers that you are capable of working with little to no supervision while taking care of safety policies and procedures and safety programs.
