    • Alpha Pacific Institute (API) offers a four-month program (evenings) in Radio Broadcasting. Students get a hands-on experience on their state-of-the-art equipment and studio facilities. Depending on what area of radio students are interested in (i.e. on-air, news, etc.), the school's program will cover a variety of courses to gain experience in talk radio, music, sports and entertainment genres. Alpha Pacific Institute offers placement assistance and additional workshops to improve skill development for up to one year after graduation. Tuition fees are low and financial assistance is available for students if necessary.

    The Academy of Radio & Television Broadcasting

    • The radio broadcasting course offered at the Academy of Radio & Television Broadcasting is a seven-month program and offers students flexibility in their schedules - as long as they commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week in class attendance. In addition to on-air experience, students are taught about programming, voice work and even station management and sales. Placement assistance is also available, as well as a Vocal Coaching course on proper diction and techniques. For convenient training from home, the Academy of Radio & Television Broadcasting offers online courses, as well. Financial Aid programs and assistance are available for students.

    Art Institute of Phoenix

    • The Art Institute of Phoenix offers students a behind-the-scenes training in production and engineering for the radio industry. Students will learn how to produce, edit, mix and record different formats while gaining experience to succeed as an audio engineer or producer. The audio production program consists of twelve quarter hours and once complete, students will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree. A variety of programs are also available for financial aid assistance.
