LATTC accommodates nontraditional students, with nearly half of those attending the school saying that they work more than 30 hours a week. The school is accredited by numerous state and regional boards, including the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the California State Department of Education. Los Angeles Trade-Tech awards associate of applied science degrees and certificates in numerous trades, such as carpentry, welding, culinary arts and cosmetology.     Universal Technical Institute

    • Universal Technical Institute has a location in Rancho Cucamonga, California. UTI specializes in automotive training, with courses in automotive, diesel and collision repair. UTI provides students with all textbooks and most tools as part of their tuition. The college helps students find housing while attending classes.
