The Providence Health Career Institute is a private, for-profit institution that offers training in trades related to the field of medicine. Training programs are offered for nurse aides and medication aides as well as refresher courses for aides who want to brush up on their skills. The Institute is also a certification testing center, allowing students to take the examination necessary for licensing in their respective fields on campus at the conclusion of their programs. Classes last just two days and are offered in an intensive format to provide training as quickly as possible. Online courses are also available and are an alternative for students who want to learn at their own pace. The school does not participate in financial aid programs.
