Airplane Flying Schools

Individuals who wish to fly aircraft within the United States and its territories must be licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Most flying schools offer pilot training courses for private and commercial aircraft. Students who successfully complete pilot training instruction are eligible to operate aircraft only for which they are licensed. Prospective students must pass a basic medical examination and be English-language proficient in reading, speaking and writing.
