Polygraph Schools

Polygraphs, which are commonly known as "lie detectors" are interrogation devices that are used to detect any physiological changes that might occur. The tool records changes in order to determine whether an individual is telling the truth or not. Some examples of the physiological processes that are monitored include blood pressure, pulse rate, heartbeat and perspiration. Polygraph tests are commonly conducted on suspected criminals. A handful of schools in the United States specialize in polygraph testing.

The accredited school features a 10-week basic examiners program, which is centered around conducting both job screening and crime-related polygraph tests. The program delves deeply into subjects including techniques of polygraph, legal issues, operations and instrumentation, psychological matters and polygraph history.
