How to Register for the GED Test in New Jersey

Unlike many other types of standardized tests, a New Jersey resident cannot log onto a website and register for the General Educational Development (or GED). Still, despite the lack of convenience, the extra steps are worth the trouble. In both recessionary times and periods of economic growth, the lack of a high school diploma can limit a person's professional options and earning potential. Since a GED is an alternative to a high school diploma, it can help with career advancement and access to college.
