How to Replace GED Certificates in Florida

The General Equivalency Diploma, or GED, is available for people over 16 who have legally dropped out of school, or adults who do not have a high school diploma. The Florida GED cannot be taken on-line -- it can only be administered at an official test center. Once you have taken the test and earned your GED, you need to keep a copy of the certificate as a supporting document for job and college applications. If you need a replacement copy, the Florida Department of Education can provide one.
