Measure the dimension of the locker you intend to mount. Consider the depth of the locker if you plan on mounting it near doors and chairs. A locker that sticks out from the wall too far is a hazard.
Locate the wooden beam stud in the wall around the area where you intend to mount the locker. Mark the center of the stud with your pencil.
Hold the locker against the wall and position the mounting holes of the locker on the line marking the center of the stud. Mark the mounting holes with your pencil on the wall. Put a level on top of the locker to ensure that you are mounting the locker perfectly level.
Drill a hole in each of the marked spots on the wall using a drill bit that is two sizes smaller than the supplied screws for the locker. The drilled holes should go into the wall no more than an inch.
Mount the locker on the wall by drilling each screw through a mounting hole, one at a time. Avoid drilling each screw completely in until all screws have been started in the wall. Once each screw is in place, secure them completely.
