How to Cite Work Cited Within a Novel

Citing the research and information you've used is always important when writing a new piece of work, as it allows you to avoid accusations of plagiarism and enables people to check your sources for accuracy. Occasionally, you may be directed to a useful piece of work through an unconventional source, such as a novel. However, regular conventions apply for referencing secondary sources, and this can be accomplished without much trouble.
