How to Write a Heading in APA Documentation Style

APA (American Psychological Association) is the format of choice for papers written in the social sciences. To comply with requirements and APA standards, this format should be followed closely. APA has a particular style for how headings are written on papers. Headings are made up of the title of the paper written in all-caps and the page number, with a slightly different format for the first page. You can use a standard writing program, such as Microsoft Word, to format your heading.
