Cite websites in-text in MLA format by listing in the text of the paper, the author of the website. For example: On Jane Smith's website she mentions.... If the website does not have an author, list the title. For example: Portrait Magazine is an entertainment website.
Cite websites with APA style by putting the author's name and the date of publication in parentheses. For example: (Smith, 2004). If there is no author, list the title of the website. If there is no date available, put "n.d." For example: ("Portrait Magazine", n.d.).

Cite websites in Chicago style with the footnote and the bibliography entry as author, website title, the publication date, the access date and the URL. The footnote puts the author's first name first, the bibliography entry puts the last name first. For example: [footnote] Jane Smith, "Portrait Magazine," 2004.
