Locate the following information about your online lecture: The title, speaker(s), organization (most often the school), date the lecture(s) took place and location.
Organize the above information in the following format and order: "Speaker(s). "Title." Organization. Location. Date." For example, if you were citing a lecture on Human Rights from Providence College, the citation would appear as follows: "Smith, John E. "Human Rights and Democracy." Providence College. College Hall. May 21, 2010."
Check your work and be sure that the information is in the correct order and that all of the names and titles mentioned are spelled correctly. Failure to cite the right sources can lead to accusations of plagiarism and can also severely diminish the quality of your research findings. In the case of online lectures, a mistake can also allude to information from an improper lecture date and therefore make your findings irrelevant.
