How to Clear a Ti-60X

The TI-60X is one of dozens of scientific calculators designed by Texas Instruments. It is commonly used to compute advanced math and science equations. You may need to clear the calculator's internal memory to delete stored equations and programmed numbers, either because you entered an equation incorrectly or because you are taking a test that requires a reset calculator to prevent cheating.

Instructions

    • 1

Activate the calculator by pressing its "ON" button.

    • 2

Press the colored "3rd" button, found in the top row of buttons on the calculator.

    • 3

Push "RESET" (RESET is the third function of the "CLEAR" key and is found in the top row). The TI-60X's screen will display, "CLR YN."

    • 4

Press the "ENTER" button to clear the calculator. The words "CLEARED" will now flash on the calculator's screen. Resume use as normal.
