How to Delete L1 in TI-82

The venerable calculator is a staple of college life, moreso for those students who go into a math or business-related field. The Texas Instruments TI-82 calculator allows you to create lists of numbers and values for use in statistics of graphing calculations. These lists are numbered "L1," "L2" and so forth. There will come a time when you need to clear these lists of value so you can input new numbers, and it's easy to do.

      Press the "Stat" button and select "Clr:List" option.

    • 2

      Press the "2nd" button on your calculator.

    • 3

      Tap the "L1" button and press "Enter." This will clear all the data from the L1 table.
