Catholic Colleges in Wisconsin

In the 17th century, French Catholic missionaries traveled to Wisconsin to spread their faith. Today, the success of those missionaries can be seen with nine Catholic colleges operating within the state. Four of the nine colleges belong to the Franciscan order of Catholics, while the remaining five colleges each represent a different order. The schools range from small liberal arts colleges to major universities, but each places an emphasis on Catholic traditions not only in the classroom but through campus life.
