    • Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR), located in Greenville, South Carolina, specializes in automotive and transportation technology. This school, which is located in a 250-acre automotive research park, offers automotive courses in advanced manufacturing, traffic planning and robotics. Clemson University, which requires all freshman students to own a laptop, admits students based on their SAT or ACT scores and high school senior year grades (see Reference 1).

    Ferris State University: Automotive Management Program

    • Established in 1971, Ferris State University offers an Automotive Management (AMGT) program. This program specializes in all aspects of automotive business management, including customer service, vehicle leasing and stock inventory. Students interested in entering the Automotive Management Program, which offers management internships for qualifying students, have two course options: the 2+2 option, which requires applicants to have at least an Associate's degree in automotive technology, and the 0+4 option, which requires students to have a high school diploma and a 19 or above score on the ACT math test (see Reference 2).

    The Ding King Training Institute
