Seacoast Career School offers vocational career training to residents of the New England seacoast. It's Sanford campus offers programs in medical assisting, massage therapy and health claims. The school's Career Services Department helps students find employment in their fields through referrals and job-search training. The department offers training in areas such as setting career goals, crafting cover letters and resumes and interview training.

Northeast Technical Institute provides opportunities for career training in Scarborough and Bangor. The school allows students to pursue careers in the medical field, such as medical assisting, medical coding, pharmacy technology and phlebotomy; computer trades, such as networking and desktop assisting; business; bartending; heating, ventilating and air conditioning; and commercial truck driving. The placement assistance office helps students get their foot in the door by helping them craft effective resumes, hone their job search techniques, and practice their interviewing skills.

Kennebecc Valley allows students in approved apprenticeship training programs to pursue an associate in applied science degree concurrently with their apprenticeship, or to take the required degree classes after completing their apprenticeship training .
