    • Drei Husaren restaurant offers "Cook Through the Seasons" cooking classes daily that run from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The courses have a maximum capacity of 15 participants and cost EU135 each as of June 2010. Course menus change seasonally to reflect the availability of local ingredients. Students prepare a full meal and receive a certificate of completion and a customized Drei Husaren apron. The class cost includes beverages students will enjoy in the dining room with the meals prepared during the class. Drei Husaren, a traditional Austrian restaurant, opened in 1933. The restaurant continues as a well-known, modern and glamorous eatery in the area.

    Gastgewerbefachschule Culinary Institute of Vienna

    • Gastgewerbefachschule Culinary Institute of Vienna offers three-year diploma programs in kitchen management and organization, pastry art, and restaurant and catering beverages and service; a three-year advanced training course for hospitality and tourism; and a seven-month patisserie course. The curriculum includes courses in the German language, foreign language (English, French and Italian), two three-month work placements and tourism-related subjects and a tourism-professional lecture series. Diploma programs qualify students to work as cooks, servers and office personnel. Students may transfer to a university to complete a college degree following the hospitality and tourism program or join the ranks of alumnae working in food service professions world-wide. The school teaches courses in German and welcomes international students.

    • Wrenkh-Wiener Kochsalon-Wien features three-hour cooking classes three times per month called "The Easy Cook" offered at a cost of EU96 per person as of June 2010. Menus for the course vary. Students create six to eight different Austrian dishes and eat it at a family-style table with the other participants at the end of the class. The cost of the course includes a logo apron and Austrian wines paired with each dish. The class cost includes beverages served with the meal students prepare during the class. The family-owned restaurant opened as Vienna's first vegetarian and organic eatery. The chef and owner, Christian Wrenkh, hosts Hamburg's Viennese Cooking Show, and authored two cookbooks in the 200s.
