Marine Mammal Training Colleges

Marine mammal trainers typically work with whales, dolphins or sea lions in aquarium or marine park settings. Trainers must have a background in marine biology, psychology, biology or animal behavior. Employers look for candidates with a bachelor's degree, scuba certification and hands-on experience working with animals. Colleges do not offer marine mammal training specifically, however, programs within biology, psychology and agricultural departments provide necessary skills for this career.
