    • Commercial Diving Academy in Jacksonville, Florida is the only accredited underwater diving school in the Southeast United States. The school offers certifications from a number of national and international commercial diving organizations through their 20-week training program. Train in eight diving specializations over the course of 844 classroom and practical experience hours, including underwater welding and medic training.     Divers Institute of Technology

    • Train for up to 10 certifications at Seattle's state licensed and nationally accredited Divers Institute of Technology. The seven-month, 900-hour program includes training in HAZ-MAT, scuba, emergency medical techniques, and a variety of diver certifications. Work anywhere in the world after earning your International Certification. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, hold a high school diploma or GED and pass a physical before admission.     Divers Academy International

    • The comprehensive five-month program at Divers Academy International in Erial, New Jersey offers a number of international certifications through classroom and hands-on training. After 720 course hours, students are well-prepared for careers in inland and offshore commercial diving operations, including welding, rigging, bridge inspections, medical techniques and underwater video and communication. The Academy is approved for federal financial aid to those who qualify and may include grants, loans and/or veteran's assistance.

    Minnesota Commercial Diver Training Center

    • Train for nine different certifications, including TDI Nitrox, First Aid and Helmet Maintenance at the Minnesota Commercial Diver Training Center. The eight week inland course focuses on commercial diving in lakes and rivers. Courses begin four times a year with class size limited to 12 or fewer students and is approved for financial aid through the Minnesota Higher Education Services Office.

    International Diving Institute

    • Train as an entry-level diver/tender at the International Diving Institute in South Carolina. The four month program begins every month of the year, leading to the internationally recognized ACDI certification card. Diving physics, medical training and underwater tools are just a few of the things students train in at the International Diving Institute.
