National Aviation Academy provides avionics technology and aviation maintenance technology training for students in the Tampa area. The school has been in operation for more than 37 years. The academy gets students ready for the Federal Aviation Administration certification program. The FAA's Airframe and Powerplant Certification qualifies those who pass it to perform maintenance on all sizes of airplanes.
The school includes a classroom work portion as well as a hands-on lab setting at a nearby aircraft hangar at the St. Petersburg airport.

Cortiva Institute--Florida is a technical college that offers training in massage therapy. Students are trained in the skills of therapeutic massage and relaxation.
The training program is a 750-hour educational program, in which students are trained in Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Positional Release, Muscle Energy Techniques and Myofascial Release Therapy, with graduates moving on to health care and exercise facilities as well as spas and other therapy practices.
