Biomedical Technician Colleges

Biomedical technicians repair and maintain medical equipment, such as heart monitors, defibrillators, ventilators and electric wheelchairs. To enter the field of medical equipment repair, you need to have at least a high school diploma and some field training. However, many employers require an associate's degree in fields, such as biomedical technology or engineering. Advanced degrees usually are a prerequisite for supervisor or managerial roles. You can find such training and education at a variety of technical institutes or colleges.
