Kansas LPN Programs

The Kansas Board of Nursing has the responsibility of approving educational programs within the state. A number of these courses of study provide training in practical nursing, a field the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts will grow by 21 percent from 2008 through 2018. Found at both private and public institutions, Kansas' LPN programs combine classroom-based lectures with hands-on practice in laboratory and clinical settings to prepare students for state licensing exams.

Graduates of the program may choose to continue their training for one year in order to receive an associate degree in nursing and qualify for the registered nurse license exam.
