Although famous for being the oldest college in the state of Indiana, Vincennes University is also renowned for its LPN program. As of 2010, the average cost of tuition annually is around $4,100 which makes it very affordable for most students. The nursing program starts in the fall and runs through mid-summer. The application process is relatively simple and includes completion of all high school math, English and science courses with a B average. Upon being accepted to the program, students are required to complete both classroom and clinical work. After completing the program, students take the NCLEX exam for licensing.
