  1. Indiana Tech

    • Indiana Tech has a number of educational tracks for students interested in pursuing a technical education. The college offers five different ways for you to complete your education. Traditional classes have 15 week semesters, while the accelerated program semesters are six weeks long. Students can attend classes in a classroom, take their studies online or use a combination of these two programs. Finally, students have the option of independent study. Technical programs include computer science and engineering, electrical and energy engineering, computer networking and web design. Depending on the course, students may pursue a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science or Associate of Science degree.

    Ivy Tech Community College

    • Ivy Tech Community College has 23 campuses through the state of Indiana including Northeast Indiana campuses at Elkhart, South Bend, Warsaw and Fort Wayne. Ivy Tech Community College offers classes ranging from manual trades (such as automotive technology, construction, machine tooling and advanced manufacturing) to health services (with programs in dental assisting and hygiene, nursing, radiation therapy and surgical technology).

    Brown Mackie College

    • Brown Mackie College is a multi-campus career institute with campuses in Fort Wayne and South Bend. Brown Mackie has a method of teaching students where students will study a single topic for a month before moving on to the next. Both campuses include training in business, health care, legal studies, nursing and technology while the campus in South Bend has additional courses in early childhood education and veterinary technology.

    Harrison College

    • Harrison College has five campuses in Northeast Indiana including Elkhart, Fort Wayne, Marion, Muncie and Anderson. Programs vary by campus but include such courses as medical assisting, health care management, and surgical technology. Students also have the option of taking their classes online.

      Harrison College students have access to Student Career Services, while alumni also have access to this office throughout their entire career.     ITT Technical Insitute

    • The ITT Technical Institute has two campus options for students in Northeast Indiana at Fort Wayne and South Bend. The campus at Fort Wayne offers training in information technology, electronics, design and drafting, business, criminal justice and health sciences. The campus at South Bend offers all of these courses with the exception of the business program.
