The Connacht College of Design is a unique design college in that it offers one design course in assorted venues, such as hotels with large conference facilities, throughout less populated areas of Ireland. Specializing in professional interior design, the school advertises itself as "a school that comes to our students." Classes can be offered in areas such as Galway, Castlebar, Drogheda, Dundalk and Sligo. Their 23-session course includes lectures, field trip options and hands-on work. Connacht's information website suggests that because only one course is offered, it allows for a constantly updated curriculum--keeping it new and fresh. Classes are held in the early evening.
