How to Check WAEC Results

The West-African Examinations Council is an examining body operating in The Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone. The WAEC was established in 1952 and offers a wide variety of examinations including WASSCE, SC-levels and A-levels. It also conducts exams in collaboration with European examining bodies such as Britain's City and Guilds.       Purchase a WAEC Direct Access Card from any WAEC office or branch of Fountain Trust Bank. Scratch off the silver panel on the card's reverse to reveal its PIN.

      Go to the WAEC Results Checker website at waecdirect.org.

      Type your WAEC Examination Number into the "Examination Number" box on the left side of the page. This is your center number followed by your candidate number, which is a total of 10 digits.

      Select your examination year from the "Examination Year" dropdown menu and your exam type from the "Type of Examination" dropdown.

      Enter the serial number and PIN from the reverse of the WAEC Direct Access Card into the "Card Serial Number" and "PIN" boxes respectively. Click the "Submit" button located underneath. A results window will pop up displaying your WAEC results.
