MBA Programs in Seattle

Seattle offers many choices for post graduate business study and the Masters of Business degree or MBA. The best known is the University of Washington, which offers both full-time and part-time degree programs. Other institutions that offer MBA programs include Seattle University and City University of Seattle. Courses are offered for graduate students as well as executives wishing to expand their learning and earning potential.

    • The Foster School at the University of Washington (UW) offers a full time MBA course that includes high job placement rates, and many mentorship opportunities. The school was ranked high by both Businessweek Magazine and U.S. News and World Report. It is one of four U.S. business schools that has earned the international designation, European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS).

      The UW offers Executive MBA programs that meet monthly, for professionals seeking to further their education. It also offers an Evening MBA, a Technology Management MBA, a Global MBA, a Global Executive MBA, and a PhD in Business Administration, for MBAs seeking further credentials.

    Seattle University Albers School of Business and Economics

    • Albers School of Business at Seattle University (SU) is a nationally recognized program that has been ranked by Business Week magazine as number 25 in the nation and number six in the west. US New and World Report also ranks Albers School number 116 for the year 2010, which is in the top 30 percent of colleges.

      The part-time MBA program is accredited internationally. Electives include accounting, business law, e-commerce and information systems, economics, entrepreneurship, finance, international business, management, marketing, and/or operations. Areas of concentration include accounting, entrepreneurship and leadership.

    City University of Seattle

    • City University offers an MBA through the school of management. The offer grad student and adult learning classes both online or in person. The classes cover business simulation, e-portfolio, business application project, professional development planning, and programmed skill-building. Classes can be started and stopped as needed. The college does not require prospective students to take the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).
