Georgia Bible Colleges

There are a number of Bible colleges in Georgia, offering certificate programs, and associate, bachelor's and post-graduate degrees. While the core focus is theological students, some Georgia seminaries offer professional and liberal arts programs as well. Students fulfilling a Biblical degree may be required to complete a practicum for ministry.
  1. Atlanta Christian College

    • Founded in 1937, Atlanta Christian College is located in East Point, Georgia. Students can earn a degree in business or Biblical studies and a number of liberal arts programs. Traditional programs are available during the day, while non-traditional Access programs are available for adults or professions who attend one night a week. Students can also participate in intercollegiate athletic programs. The 2010-2011 full-time tuition is $15,172 annually, and financial aid is available.

    Carver College

    • Carver College is a private, co-educational and non-denominational Christian institution. Since its inception in 1943, over 700 students have graduated from the school. Carver College offers certificates and associate and bachelor's degrees in three divisions: Biblical and theological studies, professional studies and general studies. Day and evening classes are available. The 2010-2011 tuition for degree programs is $230 per credit hour or $230 per class for certificate programs. Financial aid is available.

    Emmanuel College

    • Emmanuel College was established in 1919. In 1931, it closed temporarily because of the Great Depression and reopened in 1933. Associate and bachelor's programs are available in Christian ministries and non-Christian programs. The 2011-2012 tuition for full-time students is $7,275 per semester. Financial aid and scholarships are available. Emmanuel College's offers a variety of athletic programs for men and women, such as cross country, track and field, tennis, soccer and volleyball.

    Toccoa Falls Bible College

    • Toccoa Falls College is located 95 miles north of Atlanta, Georgia, in the Great Smoky Mountains. It was established in 1907 and offers 27 majors and 36 minors under Arts & Sciences, Christian Ministries and Professional Studies. Courses are available on campus and online. Men and women's sports include baseball, basketball, cross country, soccer, golf and volleyball. Full-time tuition for the 2011-2012 academic year is $16,710 and financial aid is available.
