Talk to your parents or your friends about the action or event you found difficult or objectionable. You need to have a support system, especially if the behavior continues.
Step back and try to maintain your objectivity. If you feel you are being singled out, try changing your behavior. Your teacher may be reacting to your behavior. Try to be respectful of your teacher, and avoid behaviors that could cause the problem to escalate.
Keep a journal or list of the events or actions that you feel warrant a complaint. If you do decide to lodge a formal complaint, you will need detailed records. Make note of the day and time of the events, and try to stay objective.
Set up a meeting with your teacher. You may not want to spend more time with him, but a meeting can help clear the air. Ask one of your parents or another teacher to join the two of you at the meeting. Discuss the situation as calmly as you can, and see if you can come to some sort of agreement.
Find out who you can lodge a complaint with if you feel you have no other option. Your school probably has an ombudsman or counselor who deals with these situations. Present your side of the story in a clear, calm manner. Take a parent or friend with you as support.
