UCB's interdisciplinary doctoral program in health services and policy analysis offers a selection of areas of concentration including political science and policy, population health, health economics and organizations.

Pennsylvania State University's Department of Health Policy and Administration offers a research-oriented Ph.D. program. The program delivers a comprehensive background in economics, organizational theory and health services research methods, according to the school's website.
Doctorate students concentrate their studies in areas of research being conducted by the faculty including aging, quality improvement in health systems and organizations and population health outcomes.
