Part Time Psy.D. Programs

To become a licensed psychologist, you must obtain a doctoral degree in the field. The Ph.D. (doctor of philosophy) in psychology places an emphasis on research, while the Psy.D. (doctor of psychology) places an emphasis on clinical practice. Both programs offer part-time options designed for working professionals. They typically take four to seven years to complete.
